JD Greear - Liberty University Convocation
On October 13, 2014, at Convocation, North America’s largest weekly gathering of Christian students, JD Greear, Pastor of The Summit Church at Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, spoke to students about the assurance of one’s faith. He encouraged students to stop relying on memories of their conversions and instead examine their lives and the growth they experience as testaments to their faith.
JD Greear is a pastor and author of numerous books, including Stop Asking Jesus Into Your Heart: How to Know for Sure You Are Saved. Greear received a doctorate in Philosophy from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2003 and has been the pastor of The Summit Church since 2002.
