Is the increase in Aliyah fulfilling Biblical Prophecy
In this week’s edition of Behind the Headlines, we will be discussing how over the past year we have witnessed a dramatic increase in Aliyah, the Hebrew word for Immigration to Israel in fulfilment of biblical prophecy.
According to figures produced by the Jewish Agency in Israel that directly deals with Aliyah there has been a 3% increase in the number of Jewish people moving to Israel from 2020.
In 2021 the number of Jewish people who made Aliyah to the Jewish State was 28,100, we witnessed an increase by 15% from countries belong to the former Soviet Union and Russia. What is more surprising is the number of Jewish people who have left western Europe is staggering as Germany witnessed a 58% increase, France 42%, and Britain a 23%. The United States saw an increase in 33% and Ethiopia is up by 75%.
There can be no doubt that some of the reasons behind the increase in Aliyah have to do with conflict zones such as Ethiopia and the Ukraine. The raise in Jew Hatred across Western Europe and the United States is contributing to the increase in Aliyah in 2021. The Lord is behind this bring his people home in fulfilling his word as it says in Jeremiah Chapter 16 discusses how the Lord sent the fishermen to bring the Jewish people home to Israel and then followed by the hunters.
