02:11 This is Paul, the guy who wrote half of the New Testament, and brought us the revelation of grace, that has changed our lives. Here is what the guy who preached grace said in 1 Corinthians 6:9. So he’s preaching grace, but in the very context of preaching grace, he still says that these things are wrong, and there’s some people today saying, there’s nothing wrong.
03:34 Everybody’s born with tendencies of the flesh, that can ensnare them if they don’t learn to overcome it. Secondly, once you get born-again, you don’t have that nature anymore. You may have that temptation, and weakness, or whatever that weakness in the flesh is that satan exploits. But, that is not who you are any longer.
04:54 Paul said to Timothy, ‘flee youthful lust.’ (2 Timothy 2:22) So even as you get older, you’ve got to flee youthful lust. It’s the flesh.
05:31 Well, it comes back to the attitude of what we’re being taught, because it’s your god, you get to make up your own mind. There is no standard outside of what you want. Once you decide what you want, we’ll just go along with you.
07:14 Since the beginning of time, satan’s M.O. is to attack the Word, both living and written. And, all persecution, prosecution, and execution of God’s people, always comes down to the Word of God.
08:58 People are just disengaged. They just don’t want the strife. When I talk to pastors, and if we start to deal with political things, you don’t want the strife and contention. But, you still have to pay that price, in a sense of, don’t confuse persecution and opposition, with strife and contention. You got to speak the truth in love.
10:51 As a whole, the nation is united. We have not lost our country, we’ve lost Washington. And that’s what’s driving us right now.
12:16 Some people might think, “What are you doing having a discussion like this on your Gospel Truth broadcast?” And it’s because, we’re trying to get Christians, a grass roots thing, to stand up and to start doing something, before we lose this nation.
13:50 My concern is, if we can’t, (I’m talking about Christians. I’m talking about pastors), find a consensus among basic morality anymore, how do you turn the ship around? There should be an uproar over this.
14:07 I wrote, what we call, Declaration of Dependence Upon God and His Holy Bible. And basically it’s about six paragraphs. It’s very short and concise, but it’s a take off on the U.S. Declaration of Independence. And I say, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.”
16:05 There’s people that are saying, ‘well now that the Supreme Court has legalized homosexual marriage, we’ve lost, and it’s over.’
18:03 There’s a point where it’s crystal clear, between right and wrong. You have to make a choice, ‘where are you going to stand?’ And that’s the point I think we’re coming to. It’s not simple anymore to be passive.
