In preparation for the International Pastors & Leadership Conference (IP&L), we were faced with a common challenge as to how we should attain and retain the Millennial demographic. As a conference for entrepreneurs, pastors, and leaders, we conducted a focus group of diverse individuals from different backgrounds, ethnicities, industries, and cultures, to understand their perspectives and what motivates them. We held nothing back as we discussed self-identity, leadership skills, politics, race, gender equality, and the outcry of the nation on sexual assault and abuse ignited from the current #MeToo Movement.
