After at least two to three years of watching Keita McGee and being inspired by his movement, God has blessed me with an opportunity to meet and collaborate with him on a piece! He's not only one of my favorite choreographers/dancers I've discovered, but also someone I can call my brother in Christ! That's incredible to me! This shoot was during my one week birthday stay in Japan. After having dinner and some sweet fellowship with Keita and his wife Emili, I asked him if he'd want to collaborate with me and this was the first song that came to mind from me after he agreed. The Christian life is a hard life to live, and sometimes we want to give up on God. The demographic of Christians is less than 1% in Japan, so I can't imagine how difficult it must be to be a Christian in Japan, especially for Keita and Emili. But our God is a faithful God, so we use our gift to dance to bring Him the praise and glory despite whatever difficult circumstances and trials we encounter in this life. Keita and I both found out Mark is a believer too right before we started shooting, and it was cool to do this for His glory with Mark too!
