This series is called Humility: God’s Path To More Grace. Unfortunately humility is not most people's goal. Andrew is teaching on humility against pride. Jesus said he was meek and lowly in heart and yet he ran out the money changers for defiling the temple. Humility needs to be redefined in our understanding today. We need to recognize that God’s kingdom operates on a different system than what this world's system operates on.

00:25 If you truly want the grace of God, which is everything that God is and everything that God has, on an unearned, undeserved basis, then you have to humble yourself.

01:03 We define pride only as arrogance, but pride is selfishness, self-centeredness, self dependency, taking credit for things, depending upon self, and trusting in ourself. True humility is trusting upon God.

03:07 It is so restful when you come to the end of yourself and say, “Father, it’s got to be you.” That doesn’t mean you don’t do anything. If the Lord tells you to do something, you do it. You do it in response to God, not to get a response from God.

04:13 Andrew talks about the pressure from the real estate agent regarding buying the property at Woodland Park and how he trusted God and had peace about the offer.

07:05 You have decisions to make, and you are all stressed out over it. You’re worried. You’re fearful. You’re pressured.You’ve got to do something right now. You need to cast the care about that over on the Lord.

09:25 Andrew has not had any anxious thoughts due to the delay in construction on phase 2 of Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, because he is doing this in response to God. Therefore, the responsibility is on God. This is an example of casting your care upon the Lord and don’t worry about it.

11:41 John 5.44 “How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?”

12:02 If you are a man pleaser, if you are doing things, because you are codependent upon people’s approval, then you cannot believe (not with God’s kind of faith).

13:36 James 4.10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” God will exalt you. It’s contrary to what you think. Promoting yourself causes God to resist you.

15:59 You can get to a place where honestly the only “person” you are out to please is God.

18:11 You ought to let God be the one who promotes you.

19:55 The way up in God’s kingdom is down. If you want more grace, if you want more of God’s supernatural power and ability manifest in your life, the way to get it is to humble yourself.

22:08 You need to get to a place where you are not out to gain the approval of people. Don’t be codependent upon anybody’s approval (John 5.44) & links to next video.
