God has a plan for each of our lives and it's God's heart that we Find, Follow and Fulfill His will for us. Psalm 139:14-16 shows us that before we were even born, God had a plan for us. The good news is, it's never too late to Find, Follow and Fulfill God's will. With our cooperation, God will re-calculate and redirect our lives. Great men of God like Moses, Abraham and David made major mistakes in their lives but with a willing heart, God redirected their lives and they were blessed and a tremendous blessing to others.
00:15 We're continuing our teaching on How to Find, Follow and Fulfill God's Will
00:45 There is no way we are going to find God's will accidentally. We have to pursue God's will. There is a way to fulfill God's will.
04:19 2 Corinthians 12:10 ...for when I am weak, then am I strong.
When we realize our own inability, it makes us thrust yourselves upon God, God it has to be you.
8:30 Acts 7:25 Moses decided he was going to handle the situation himself, through his might, his power and because of it, it caused him 40 years in the wilderness. It was not God's will for the children of Israel to go out into wilderness for 40 years. Many of our own "wilderness" experiences are self imposed.
10:20 We can't "microwave" God's will to come to pass faster but we can make mistakes that will delay it. We need to seek God and His will and then FOLLOW God. God is trying to prepare us at His set time.
12:50 Not only do we need to know God's Will for our life, we need to know God's plan. Galatians 3:17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot dis annul, that it should make the promise of none effect. The promise that God gave Abraham in Genesis 15 a promise that the children of Israel would be in the promised land in 400 years. It actually took 430 years...see why.
20:00 Even though Moses made a mistake and spent so long in the wilderness. God still used him. In Exodus 3:3 ...I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. It was something to see this miracle of the Lord. Not only was the bush on fire, but it stayed on fire, it did not go out and the tree was not consumed by the flames.
20:35 This is how God communicates to us many times. He doesn't just say, in this case Moses, I'm over here. He showed up in the burning bush and Moses had to choose to "turn aside" to see. God many times, asks us to seek Him. When we seek God, we will find him. God's not the one that's lost.
20:45 God will not force Himself on us. He shows Himself subtly. In Mark 6:48 Jesus was walking on the water in a storm to help his disciples and yet the Word says...he would have passed by them. The disciples had to cry out to Jesus. It's an important point, God will knock, we have to seek Him enough to hear Him and open the door.
22:00 We miss encounters with the Lord because we're too busy. SEEK GOD and He will show up!
