God has a plan for each of our lives and it's God's heart that we Find, Follow and Fulfill His will for us. Psalm 139:14-16 shows us that before we were even born, God had a plan for us. The good news is, it's never too late to Find, Follow and Fulfill God's will. With our cooperation, God will re-calculate and redirect our lives. Great men of God like Moses, Abraham and David made major mistakes in their lives but with a willing heart, God redirected their lives and they were blessed and a tremendous blessing to others.
00:15 We're continuing our teaching on How to Find, Follow and Fulfill God's Will
00:20 There is no way we are going to find God's will accidentally. We have to pursue God's will.
02:25 The movies portray Moses as a nice guy who didn't know he was a Jew and was shocked to find out. But the Word of God shows the truth. Acts 7:23 ...it came into his (Moses) heart to visit his brethren. Moses knew he was of Israel and raised as the Grandson of Pharaoh.
3:20 Moses made a great mistake. He was a great General of his time and he assumed that God was going to use his personal strength and might to free Israel - so he wasn't submitting to God's will. God wants to do His will in your life, His way. Proverbs 3:5-6
10:05 We can't "microwave" God's will to come to pass faster but we can make mistakes that will delay it. We need to seek God and His will and then FOLLOW God. God is trying to prepare us at His set time.
14:00 Andrew was teaching the Charis Bible College students this very message and said that preparation time is not wasted time. One student stood up and said he rejected Andrew's message. This student was a good Evangelist and he was certain God told him he was going to win one million people to the Lord and the time was urgent. Andrew had no doubt that that was God's will, but he had to re-explain, if this young man went out and tried to do it of his own flesh ability, he would fail. Keep moving forward, keep preparing and wait on God to give you your next move. This student was so upset over this, he quit school saying he didn't agree and he didn't have time to wait. He had to move now. Ten years later, it still has not come to pass.
17:15 The Word of God says, first the blade, then the ear, then the full ear of corn.
19:25 Moses used the same logic and the children of Israel spent more years in bondage. God's way wasn't to kill the Egyptian Moses killed. God's way was miraculous manifestations of His power like turning the water to blood and the darkness over the land.
20:00 It will be a powerful life for us when we learn not to follow God's will under our own power, but to keep our dependence on God.
