Teens often ask Dr. Jeff Myers, “How can I tell if my faith is real?”

Jeff explains that biblical faith is a lot like mountain climbing. It’s a firm knowledge of reality, based on the most trustworthy source in the universe, the Bible.

Many people believe that faith is based on feelings, but Jeff says feelings are unreliable. They can change. While we might not always feel like God is there with us, that doesn’t change the fact that He is there.

Jeff says what makes faith valid is not that you have it, but that the object of our faith is worthy. So it’s important for parents to help your teens search for the evidence for creation, for God and for the truth of the Bible.
