In honor of the Hour of Power’s 50th year on television, we are honoring the late, great Kirk Douglas, who recently passed away. This interview was recorded February 24, 2002 with Dr. Robert H. Schuller.
A returning Hour of Power favorite, Maiya Sykes is a soloist from Southern California. Sykes attended Yale with a triple major in Political Science, African American studies and Music Composition. Charles Jones is a singer, keyboardist, songwriter and producer. Today, Maiya and Charles perform “His Eye is on the Sparrow” (comp: Gene Bartlett; Charles Gabriel; C.D. Martin; orch: M.
