For Tait, stress was something that continued to build and culminated with the devastating terminal diagnosis of their oldest son, Connor. The years after Connor’s death at age 8 led to even much more stressful times than during the illness. Everything was on a razor’s edge for Tait. It wasn’t until he was willing to show his pain and vulnerability that he asked for help. He found the sooner you ask for help, the sooner the healing begins, and the quicker the weight of the burden you’re carrying is lifted.
