We can take it for granted that the baby born in Bethlehem 2000 years ago was God in the flesh. After all, that’s what Christmas is about. But the Incarnation is meant to be a never ending cause for gratefulness and worship. Jesus set aside his glory to reconcile us to God forever. When we had no hope of reaching heaven, heaven came to us. How can we not be amazed?
