On April 4th, 2016, at Convocation, North America’s largest weekly gathering of Christian students, Hall of Fame College Football Coach Frank Beamer spoke to students about qualities of effective leaders. He explained to students the importance of high integrity, communication, and organization in leadership positions.

Frank Beamer is a retired college football coach and Special Assistant to the Athletic Director at Virginia Tech. Beamer was a cornerback for Virginia Tech and went on to coach Virginia Tech from 1987 to 2015, becoming one of the longest tenured active coaches and the winningest active coach in NCAA Division I FBS at the time of his retirement.
