We wanted to provide some encouragement for single dads this father's day and every day, and make sure single dads are acknowledged. As a single dad to two girls John Vencer faces challenges like having to learn how to do their hair, making sure to give them the attention they need, and balancing work and home life.

This family also has plenty of fun as well. Art is their favorite activity. Some fathers don't have the support of the children's mother or parents nearby to babysit so things can get pretty tough for a dedicated single dad.

John encourages single dads to lean into their faith and gives examples on how to model behavior that will earn their children's respect.
