Embracing Forgiveness / ANGELINA TAYLOR
Angelina Taylor was adopted soon after when she born. By the time she was 2 years old her adopted family fell apart and she was being raised in a single-family home by her mom. Her childhood experiences of abuse and emotional foster homes, group homes and being out on her own at 15 left her with feelings of being unworthy of love, unwanted and she had abandonment issues. She believed that worldly titles would prove her worth as she became a well-respected social worker. She was determined to be “Super Mom” and a great friend to those to turn to for help and advice; anything that would show others she was worthy of love and give her the acceptance and admiration she longed for. When Angelina learned to forgive, God miraculously healed her in many ways. Relationships were also restored, including being re-connected with her birth mom whom she now has a great relationship with. Angelina’s health is also a truly miracle after being hospitalized from major health concerns. At one point she was confined to a wheelchair and told from well-meaning doctors that she would never walk again. Angelina overcame those circumstances and rose up in faith with her personal relationship with God. Angelina joins us to share an inspiring message of hope from hard places.
