Some traditions say the Bible, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are interdependent; others may emphasize the Bible above Jesus and the Holy Spirit; while still others declare that the function of scripture is not to point to itself, but to Christ. But we are unified in the belief that the Bible is the very Word of God and has the right to command our belief and action.
