It’s never too early to start to pray together as a family. For this activity you need to get a jar, and some big Popsicle sticks. Take some time together as a family to think of things that you can be praying for. Write these things on the Popsicle sticks, and let the kids have fun decorating them. Decorate a prayer jar and put the Popsicle sticks inside the jar. Now you have a prayer request jar! Take turns during the week picking a Popsicle stick and praying together as a family for the requests. Remind your children about the verse from Ephesians 6:18 that tells us we should always keep praying for all the Lords people. Put the prayer jar somewhere where everyone can see it, and make prayer a foundational part of your family.
