Liberty University celebrated its 40th Commencement on Saturday, May 11, 2013. More than 15,000 students received their degrees, and Commencement guests heard from Liberty alumna Shannon Bream. Bream, a reporter at Fox News, is Liberty's first-ever female speaker and the first alumnus to speak since the university was accredited in 1980. She graduated from Liberty with a degree in business in 1992.
