Class 1 - Intro to Biblical Symbolism | Creation's Architecture
When we think of a "biblical worldview," we most often think of specific abstract concepts or doctrinal propositions. But God has revealed himself in Scripture in a way that can communicate to all people, in all languages, and in all times, using created things familiar to us all to do so--fruit trees and grapevines, mountains and rivers, sun, moon, and stars, beasts of the land and sea.
In this class, "Creation's Architecture: Biblical Patterns from Genesis to Revelation," we will seek to understand how the creation account gives to us God's own perspective of the world he created and provides for us the primary symbols used throughout the rest of the Scripture. The aim of this class is to help you "view" the world itself through new eyes, recognizing that everywhere you look is a reminder of the God who created all things.
