In the fall of 2018, hurricane Michael devastated the Florida panhandle, taking the lives of over 30 individuals, while leaving over a million without power.

It was in this time of great adversity that our Charis Extension School, Charis Blountstown, teamed up with our other extension schools through out Florida to help those in hard to reach places not yet aided by the local first responders.
