The Temple in Jerusalem was where Heaven and Earth met and the deep realities of God's Kingdom were expressed. When the ancient Israelites betrayed the LORD God, the temple was destroyed and they were led into captivity. But the sovereign LORD brought His people back to rebuild the Temple, though there were many obstacles. The books of Ezra and Haggai reveal the LORD's amazing sovereignty over history and how His plan of salvation rescued His people from captivity, foreshadowing the birth of Messiah Jesus. The six programs cover the books of Ezra and Haggai as follows:

1. Returning from Exile (Ezra 1-3)

2. Opposition (Ezra 4-6)

3. God's hand was on us (Ezra 7-8)

4. Do not be unequally yoked (Ezra 9-10)

5. Give careful thought to your ways (Haggai 1)

6. The Desire of all nations (Haggai 2)
