“Be still, and know that I am God”

What a beautiful time in St. Louis last night, and this might have been my favorite moment of the night. I’ve been thinking on this verse since my good friend and pastor of my home church, @benjihorning, talked about it last Sunday. To be still and know. To listen. To trust. To believe. To stop striving, stop trying to be holy. To accept God’s free gift of grace. To stand confident in the identity He has given me as a loved and forgiven child of Heaven. To just be still and know that HE is God over all and through all and in all. Praying you would walk in this truth today. That whatever the circumstance around you, inside you would be peace and stillness as you accept the reality of His kingship over all things and his unfailing love He has for you.
