Assaulted by PASTOR'S WIFE! What Do I Do? - Your Questions, Honest Answers

I was physically assaulted by an associate pastor's wife in September causing whiplash, bruises, and mental and emotional injury. I am in physical therapy and will begin counseling next week to deal with the trauma it caused. My husband and I have since realized how bad the church is and we've left this cult-like church. I struggle with severe anger towards them because of this. They've not reached out to reconcile or apologize; instead, they've gone to my husband at his workplace in order to "explain" and minimize what was done by the wife. This is not her first time assaulting someone and now she works at an assisted living facility. I don't know how to get past my anger towards them…and towards my husband who is attempting to make peace with all parties. I'd appreciate some wisdom and advice.
