The book of Acts helps us understand how to be Christ-followers in our generation. Maturing as a Christ-follower, however, and allowing the character of Christ to be formed in us is a very awkward, less than intuitive process--learning God-responses and the character of Christ and becoming familiar with the Person of the Holy Spirit. The book of Acts helps us with this and gives us the courage we need to be the twenty-first century edition of the book of Acts!
