A Flourishing Church Family (1 Thes. 2:17–3:13) | Special Weekend Video Sermon | Pastor Mike Fabarez
We must take heart and derive help from being a loving, communicating, caring participant in our Compass Bible Church family during the disruption of this health crisis.
A Flourshing Church Family (1 Thessalonians 2:17–3:13) | Special Weekend Video Sermon | Pastor Mike Fabarez
Discussion Questions:
1. Read 1 Peter 1:22. How can you more sincerely express the indispensable importance of your church family during this current crisis?
2. Read Philippians 2:19-20. What will be your personal commitment and the means by which you will step up your communication with your church family?
3. Read Romans 12:13. What group or demographic within our church body might you tend to generally overlook? What can you do during this crisis to press beyond your natural circles of relationships to connect with and affirm some people at Compass that you have previously overlooked? Be specific.
4. Read 1 Thessalonians 3:6-9. What can you do to learn to value above all else the spiritual health of the people of your church? How can and should this affect your prayers and your conversations with the Christians at Compass?
5. Read 1 Thessalonians 3:10-11. Take time right now (and later with your small group) to pray for this crisis to be over and for the return to face-to-face assembling together as a church.
