Nuclear family. Blended family. Non-traditional family. Friends who are family. Church family. Family comes in many forms. But at their best, these relationships can comfort our pain, carry our burdens, and coax the very best out of us. Families of all kinds can remind all of us that none of us are alone, and can even give us glimpses of our great God. But how can we do family better? How can we better understand the forces that shape and shatter our relationships? How do we move past the complicated histories of our families to build better legacies? For the next several weeks we’re going to dive headlong into some of the most difficult challenges facing our families and relationships, holding them up to the wisdom of the Bible in order to find new ways to navigate our most up to date issues.
